I was blessed by the resolutions of the great puritan preacher Jonathan Edwards, known for the famous sermon, “Sinners In The Hands Of An Angry God”.

What is interesting to me is the focus on the attention of seizing the NOW, the DAY – to the glory of God!

Be encouraged and blessed:)

#1 Resolve never to do any manner of thing, whether in soul or body, less or more, but what tends for the glory of God.

#2 Resolve never to lose one moment of time; but improve it the most profitable way I possibly can.

#3 Resolve to live with all my might, while I do live.

#4 Resolve never to do anything, which I should be afraid to do, if it were the last hour of my life.

#5 Resolve to think much on all occasions of my own dying, and of the common circumstances which attend death.
